City Centre
Most of the shops in the city centre open at 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. On Friday, most of the shops are open until 9:00 p.m. The Markthal is open until 8:00 p.m. nearly every day, on Friday until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday until 6:00 p.m. Department store De Bijenkorf is almost daily open until 8:00 p.m. Rotterdam Tourist Information on Central Station is open daily until 6:00 p.m. Would you like to get the exact times of your favorite store quickly? - Monday, April 1, Easter Monday – Sunday opening hours from 12 pm to 6 pm
- Saturday, April 27, King’s Day – Shops open from 10 am
- Saturday, May 4, Remembrance Day – Open until 7 pm
- Sunday, May 5, Liberation Day – Sunday opening hours from 12 pm to 6 pm
- Thursday, May 9, Ascension Day – Sunday opening hours from 12 pm to 6 pm
- Sunday, May 19, Pentecost Sunday – Sunday opening hours from 12 pm to 6 pm
- Monday, May 20, Pentecost Monday – Sunday opening hours from 12 pm to 6 pm
The Market Hall
Rotterdam has three major outdoor markets: Binnenrotte, Afrikaanderplein, and Visserijplein. In addition, there are several neighborhood markets as well as an organic market and the Oogstmarkt. The Markthal is the most well-known covered market in Rotterdam, but not the only one. On the south side of the city, there is the Fenix Food Factory. Moreover, you can also enjoy a variety of delicious foods at The Foodhallen on the Kop van Zuid and Station Bergweg in Rotterdam Noord.

Alexandrium
The Alexandrium consists of 3 parts: the covered Shopping Centre, the Megastores outside and the Home Decoration Mall. The shopping centre is easy to reach by train, metro, bus and car.

Zuidplein is the biggest covered shopping mall in the Netherlands and is easy to reach by car, metro and bus. Buses from the entire region stop here.
