Admission Requirements

To gain entry to the Master of Human Resource Management, applicants must:

  • Have any bachelor degree, or​
  • Equivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience.​
  • Meet English Language Requirements (Band 4). This can include IELTS Academic - Overall band minimum score of 6.5 (no individual band less than 6.0).

Fast-Track Your Master Degree

Eligible students can fast-track their Master of Human Resource Management and complete their degree in only nine units. To gain entry to the fast-tracked master degree, applicants must:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Commerce/Business/Management/Work and Employment Relations with focus/major areas: HR, Management, Business Administration, Industrial and/or Employment Relations.

Meet your Course Coordinator

Dr Esmé Franken is a Course Coordinator for Human Resource Management and a Lecturer in the School of Business and Law. She has recently completed a PhD in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

Esmé is interested in how both managers and employees can develop to their full potential in organisations. Her research uses both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and centers on leadership and employee development.

Assessment

Assessments vary from unit to unit. Please check with your Course Coordinator or Student Success Advisor about each unit's assessment requirements. Assessments may include case studies, reviews, reports, portfolios, applied projectsand presentations. We do not hold exams for accelerated online programs.

FEE-HELP

The cost of our Master of Human Resource Management is $52,080* for all 12 units.

The Master of Human Resource Management (Fast-Track) costs $39,060* for nine units.

To assist with some or all of your tuition fees, FEE-HELP is available for eligible students. This government-supported loan scheme is designed to help eligible full-fee paying students pay their postgraduate tuition fees.
